Auburn Heights After Hours returns for 2023! 

Join us for scenic views, craft brews and games to amuse! Every third Thursday (May–September), we open up the picturesque grounds after hours (5–8 pm) with a different food truck, featured group and other fun activities.

General admission: $6 age 13 & up; $3 age 6–12, Members & children 5 & under free (no advance registration needed)

Event Features: Performances by School of Rock Hockessin and don’t forget to BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair). PLUS free admission to summer interns! Come mingle with other interns and test out your networking skills in a relaxed environment.

Event Features: Performances by the Newark Ukesters, a local ukelele group and celebrate the Dog Days of Summer by bringing along your (well-behaved and leashed) furry friend. In honor of our new fashion exhibit, pooches are encouraged to put their best fashion paw forward and come dressed up! Free admission to active volunteers with PAWS for People.

The Polish Connection
Event Features: Experience the macabre from Victorian times! Discover Victorian mourning practices insides the Auburn Heights Mansion and view a display of original mourning clothes from the New Castle Historical Society inside the Marshall Steam Museum, along with other themed activities.

  • No train or antique auto rides will be available during the After Hours programs
  • Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome
