Sponsor Opportunity: NEW AVRR Passenger Cars

For a limited time, you can put your “stamp” on the new AVRR passengers cars, expected to debut in fall 2024. Five new cars with individual seats and two bench-seat cars will become part of the Auburn Valley Railroad, with the five individual-seat cars reflecting historic railroads that operated in the surrounding area. The bench-seat cars, painted in Pennsylvania Railroad red, will display the AVRR logo.

Manufacturing has begun, and to help underwrite this investment in the railroad’s future, we invite sponsors to claim their car, which will feature a personalized “trust plaque” (4″x8″, one on each side, see image at right), modeled on vintage railroad trust plaques. Sponsorship terms are for 5 years, and supporting donations are fully tax deductible.
