The Friends of Auburn Heights Preserve and Marshall Steam Museum were established thanks to a legacy of philanthropic support from the Marshall family and continue today through the generous support of dedicated members, volunteers and donors.




Cash: Cash contributions in the form of a personal or business check should be made out to FAHP and mailed to the Friends of Auburn Heights Preserve, P.O. Box 61, Yorklyn, DE 19736.

Negotiable Securities: FAHP gladly accepts gifts of stock or negotiable securities, which may be transferred to the organization with the donor enjoying advantageous income-tax treatment. Send a letter to your broker indicating the number of shares of each security you wish to donate, with instructions for the broker to telephone the F.A.H.P. office at 302-239-2385.


Educational Wish Lists: The Marshall Steam Museum maintains two wish lists for materials and supplies used to deliver our educational programs:

A gift to the FAHP endowment provides permanent funds for the perpetual care of the museum, collections and educational programs. Endowment gifts guarantee the long-term viability of the organization and ensure that the Friends of Auburn Heights Preserve will remain a source of inspiration and education for generations to come. The FAHP endowment is invested and governed by the Delaware Community Foundation.
